The cohort consists of 534 healthy individuals, of whom 44% are male and 56% are female, all of Western-European genetic background.

The inclusion of the volunteers took place between 08/2013 until 12/2014 in the Radboud University Medical Center, the Netherlands. The age of the cohort ranges from 18 to 75, with the majority (421 individuals) being 30 years old or younger.

Within this cohort;

  • – Immune cell counts
  • – Cytokine production upon incubation with various viral, fungal and bacterial stimuli
  • – Immunoglobulins
  • – Gut microbiome
  • – SNP genotyping
  • – Transcriptome (from a subset of the cohort)
  • – Metabolome
